Bweirdos Sanchez and Agent Gray Harry’s Week

Bweirdoss (in jest)

What is it with football managers’ stubble come beards, the scratch look. Chelsea’s Pochettino’s stubble takes on the look of a squirrel looking to scrummage for some nuts following a Chelsea defeat to be met across the water or Kings Road whichever. Is Fulham’s Marco Silva with the stubble taking an unexpected turn for the worse to give the look of a heavy night on the wine? Stick to the Scouse Marco Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp does with I want to keep the beard clean and tidy, tick that box. Up periscope and Jurgen’s locks, worth a mention with a range of a light orange to a brown effect on a changeable note to switch into a squirrel grey, make your mind up Jurgen.

Across the doggy poohs plated Stanley Park, Everton’s Sean Dyche sports an immaculate scissored goatee to go alongside the wiping of the forehead of the imaginary quiff. On the Manchester block we have Pep Guardiola who seems intent on going for the full bloom Father Christmas ‘Bweirdoss’. Why not, come December we have the Manchester City merchandise clear out sales, thank you Pep all free of course? Over to you ten beers, oh sorry United’s Dutch land ten Hag who likes to dagger in the eyes at the post match journalists fare, can see the s—t ready to spray on a bad team performance, but I have the beard to protect tulips are forever. At Spurs, Ange Postecoglou’s stubble seems to weigh heavy with Ange looking to nod off at the post match questions, wake up post snooze. The daddy of all the Bweirdoss’s is on the pundit block with Roy Keane, who sports the look of a lumberjack when in full bloom. Time to don the Micah Richards high stage boots to vault up the pole you go Roy, the flag waver for the Bweirdoss on the football block.

Sanchez and Agent Gray

To bring into question, should managers criticise plyers in the public domain and likewise, it’s a no on both counts, so is that wishful thinking? If a player goes rogue, he will be on the end of a good spanking from his club and exit. The Manchester United manager ten Hag publicly criticised his player Jadon Sancho for weak training sessions. This falls under the manager’s discretion to pull the player to one side and to lay down what the requirements are of him during the club’s training sessions. The manager revealed all to the crow footed press, a mistake by ten Hag, perhaps to get caught on the tulip hop with Sancho’s non discipline fermenting inside ten Hag, but it is for ten Hag to think quick on those sitting tulips, to baton down the hatches. The player responded stating that the manager is telling porkies who has previous as the porky pie teller. Telling times for Jadon who perhaps will be jettisoned out of the door.

At Everton we had the reverse trait with the player Demara Gray laying a lack of respect claim at the door of manager Sean Dyche, who felt the right to reply stating that Gray had become ‘Agent Gray’ to have negotiated his own deal out of the club. Dyche reminded the player that he is employed by Everton Football Club and not himself, there goes that lack of respect Demarai. That’s a first on the football block to become a player agent. Time to enter into the reality zone with a downing of the Demarai tools to relinquish ones responsibilities to his profession and club, exit Gray to Saudi Arabia on the club’s terms, job done.

Harry’s Week

The international week with England v Ukraine and Scotland became the sideshows with the continuation of the Harry Maquire theme park, with the rev up the engines relentless criticism od come in number 5 Maquire with supporters, pundits and the press core taking pot shots. Fair game or not it’s part of the terrain, overboard yes. Maguire had been ostracised at Manchester United for not being to the liking of manager ten Hag. It happens regardless of players performances on occasions, perhaps ten Hag wants Harry to grow those hairy ostrich legs to cover the ground quickly, ride on.

The golden rule on the international front, is for selection to be earned on merit with regular first team football for ones club, Gareth Southgate has broken the rules of selection engagement. Players striving to mark down international recognition will feel aggrieved, link to article ‘Southgate’s Nepotism’ Aug 3rd 2023. The continued selection of the player worsens the public’s perception of Maguire. A move away from United would improve the perception, and then selection for England would have merit and value, link to article ‘Harry’s Downfall’ Oct 2nd 2020.
